There are final death data files available, including Statistical, Names, Cause of Death Literals, Geocode and Infant Death. Those with active data sharing agreements may order files using the CHS Data Order Form. A data sharing agreement (DSA) is required to access vital record data. To establish a DSA, please submit this CHS Data Request Form. The 2025 death data contain the following deaths: 65,928 deaths among Washington residents. 64,458 were Washington residents who died in Washington. 1,470 were Washington residents who died out of state. 65,973 deaths that occurred within Washington state. 64,458 were Washington residents. 1,515 were residents of other states. 67,443 deaths occurred within Washington state or to Washington state residents who died out of state. Infant deaths are deaths to infants live born and less than one year old. The 2025 infant death data contain the following: 378 deaths among Washington resident infants. 348 were Washington resident infants who died in Washington. 30 were Washington resident infants who died out of state. 389 infant deaths that occurred within Washington state. 348 were Washington residents. 41 were residents of other states. 419 infant deaths occurred within Washington state or to Washington state resident infants who died out of state.
