The partnership builds on years of collaboration between the PRAC and DOJ to combat fraud. As a member of DOJ’s COVID-19 Fraud Enforcement Task Force, the PRAC used its data and advanced analytics capabilities to identify potential pandemic related fraud and support investigations. “The PRAC is focused on adding value to the oversight community by leveraging data and advanced methodologies to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and connections that are indicative of potential fraud schemes,” said PRAC Executive Director Ken Dieffenbach. “We look forward to continuing our long-standing support of DOJ efforts to address fraud risks across federal programs.” As part of the NFDC, the PRAC will continue bringing its data and analytical capabilities to this partnership, working alongside DOJ, Inspectors General, law enforcement agencies, and other government partners to identify fraud risks that cross program and agency boundaries. The PRAC promotes transparency and supports oversight of the funds provided by the CARES Act, other emergency coronavirus-related spending bills, and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
